Red Peonies (Crveni Božuri, pronounced Tsrvenee Bozhuree) is an amateur a cappella choir in Perth, Western Australia, primarily performing music that defines the Serbian heritage. Our repertoire includes a wide range of music spanning sacred and liturgic, folk, traditional and modern genres. Our songs aren't limited to Serbian music however and we enjoy performing music from all around the world, including English, Russian, Ukranian songs and more.
Red Peonies is the first Serbian choir to be formed in Perth. It was founded in January 2016 and is led by two directors/conductors, Jasna and Nada. It began as a dual harmony female choir and has since expanded to include bass and tenor vocalists.
We are always happy to welcome new members, and invite you to come and bring a friend to a rehearsal if you are interested to see what we do. We are located close to Perth City Center. Црвени Божури је аматерски а cappella хор из Перта у Западној Аустралији, који првенствено изводи музику која дефинишe српско наслеђе. Наш репертоар укључује широк спектар музике која обухвата свете и литургијске, народне, традиционалне и модерне жанрове. Наше песме нису ограничене на српску музику и уживамо у извођењу музике из целог света, укључујући енглеске, руске, украјинске песме и још.
Црвени Божури је први српски хор који је формиран у Перту. Основана је у јануару 2016. године, а воде је два директора / диригента, Јасна и Нада. Започео је као женски хор двојаке хармоније, а од тада се проширио и на бас и тенор вокале.
Увек смо срећни да пожелимо добродошлицу новим члановима и позивамо вас да дођете и поведете пријатеља на пробу ако сте заинтересовани да видите шта радимо.
